Our Mission

Our corporate philosophy hides behind the Adinkra symbol "Nyame Nti", which is displayed in our logo. It symbolizes to the Akan that food is a basis of life and that they could not survive if not for the food that God has placed here on Earth for their nourishment (According to The Adinkra Dictionary by W. Bruce Willis).

Food is an important part of life and survival.

Whether you like it or not, sooner or later every person gets hungry.
And if you're out and about in the city on a freewheeling trip, taking a break during work, want to have food delivered to your home or work, or when you and your friends have a girls/boys night out, there are the following options:

American Fast food (McD's etc. or the new trendy burger shops of today)
Asian (there is a china noodle box on every corner)
Oriental (Doner kebab houses are everywhere)
Central European (everything from Italian to Greek)

But one continent never appears in such lists:

This continent has a cuisine with food, which are so spicy that you would purposely
replace your own sense of satiety just to enjoy the meal longer.

This continent has a cuisine with food that has always been based on organic ingredients  - even before the vegans have uncovered the market. Because on this continent one was and still is partly dependent on "plant-based food".

This continent owns a cuisine with people for whom food is not a matter of course, which is why they cook with even more awe and treat the food with even more awe - as if a whole family tree depended on these foods (speaking of sustainability).

This continent is filled with people for whom down-to-earthness is not a compulsion, but a venerable virtue; where people are sometimes happier with the little bit of what they have in contrast to the partly spoiled, stressed and outraged society of today.

This continentwhich is so rich and beautiful, yet so rarely seen or perceived, is called
Africa.

And that's exactly what we want to offer or impart to our guests:

Good African food - both "takeaway" and on-site
Cheerful mood through the music and our local people
• And an experience as if you were just on vacation. A place where the stress of everyday life
should not pursue you. Where you can just be free and relaxed.
We want to break boundaries and bring a bit of Africa to Germany.
For what else does the world associate with each other more than sports? Music and food!

Yes, food is an important part of life and survival.
But how about making food an experience?
Feel The Taste! 😉

Three Founders - One Family

Our founding team consists of Mama Ataa - a passionate cook with decades of experience as well as Jasmin & Terry Osei Kuffour - a married couple consisting of a typical power woman who knows her mother's culinary skills and a visionary music artist who has a strong passion for Marketing. We start as a so-called family business.

The Taste of Ghana

For most non-Africans, the former Gold Coast Ghana is an unexplored country, despite its status as one of the economically strongest and safest countries in Africa. Every year hundreds of thousands fly to Ghana to celebrate and enjoy. The majority of these tourists have their roots there. Happiness, laxity and a love of art, music, fashion and design are characteristic of this urban scene, which we also reflect in our restaurant.
